Gregory's Travels...

Well, my boyfriend left today. I took him to the airport earlier and he got to Chicago in about 35 minutes. He just landed in Seattle and is going to get his rental car and head to the hotel. He's hanging out in the Seattle area tomorrow then has an interview with Microsoft on Monday and will be back home Tuesday night! =) I can't wait to see him again, but I'm sure he'll have an awesome experience up there!

So yeah, yesterday was one of my best days in a long time, soo much fun!

I can’t wait…

…until this weekend! I’ll be able to see Gregory at some point on Friday and possibly go to my sister’s homecoming volleyball game =) Then Saturday I’m going over to Gregory’s for the day and having a bonfire

with the DePauw side of the family (his mom’s side) that night which I’m suuuuper excited about!!! Love them!!! =D hehe

Now, let’s just hope I’m not still dizzy… it’s been over 3 days now GAHHH!!!

Valentine's Day...

...was awesome! I just spent the day hanging out with Gregory, and we did Papa Del's for lunch which always rocks--it's just a given! haha Anyway, he got me roses too, which were gorgeous!!! Here are a few pics from the day...

Yay! They smelled wonderful! - I love the shirt I wore, I made it on the front it says My (picture of a heart) belongs to an Engineer....then on the back it has gregory's last name... =D

Here's a poem...

that I wrote senior year I think? Anywho, not that great, but here goes...

THE EMERALD ISLE

There is a place I dream of,
About a million miles away.
I wish I could go back there,
If only for a day.

When you fly above this island,
You look down and see a quilt.
It's made of various different greens
That ease and take away all guilt.

From top to bottom the spot is brilliant,
The mountains rise above.
There's the roaring of the sea,
And the cooing of a dove.

You hear the cacophony of animals,
And smell the salty sea.
With all the sights and sounds,
It's a gorgeous place to be.

It gets cold...

...when you have to stand outside for an hour at work. That's exactly what I did today. All of the sudden it smelled really strongly like natural gas, so we had to evacuate the patients and everything. Then the gas company, two fire trucks, and an ambulance came. For the last little while we all sat inside the ambulance. One of our doctors even went and checked some of his patients in their cars. Talk about dedication! lol

Can't wait 'til Spring!
